🥾 Walk 757 - Farnham Common to Beaconsfield
We started with a meander around Burnham Beeches, passing the Upper and Middle Ponds, and pausing to admire the 800-year-old Druids Oak. We then crossed the road and followed a track through the woods, which was quite muddy after the recent rain.

The terrain improved as we progressed through a mixture of quiet roads, fields and woods. Wildlife sightings included herds of white and brown deer, and some large birds, possibly rheas.

We stopped for lunch on the green near St Mary & All Saints Church in Beaconsfield Old Town, before continuing to the town centre. Half the group caught buses back, while others visited Bekonscot Model Village, which featured numerous puns, an extensive model railway network and a welcome cafe stop!
