Aldermaston and Cake

Aldermaston Village, Aldermaston Wharf, a section of the Wasing Way, the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Kennet. Optional café stop at the end (and more cake!)

The walk will head north through Aldermaston Warf, and continue along the Kennet and Avon Canal until meeting the river Kennet, at which point we head south through wooded area and fields, stopping for cake! We then head for reach Aldermaston village, heading north again and back to the car park.

There will be an opportunity to stop at the garden centre for more cake or lunch if you prefer. If you are intending to stop for lunch at the garden centre, I recommend booking as the café can get busy 01189712123.

Please bring plenty of water and cake with you (or other non-cake based snack food, if there is such a thing).
