We are part of the Ramblers and we provide walks and social events in and around the English county of Berkshire.
Our walking group is primarily for people of working age who can find time to get out for a walk at the weekend. Our membership is mainly made up of people in their 40s and older but we welcome people of any age.
We generally have a walk every weekend, all year round, on either a Saturday or Sunday. Our walks generally range in length from five to fifteen miles, and each walk is graded in difficulty based on terrain and pace.
Most walks include a picnic lunch stop (bring your own packed lunch) and often also include a stop at a country pub along the way.
We also organise social events including meals out, cinema trips, ten pin bowling, museum trips and just going to the pub for a drink.
Our walking holidays have included long weekends in the Peak District, the South Downs, the Cotswolds, Shropshire and Bath, plus whole weeks in Cornwall, Yorkshire and the Lake District.
You're welcome to come along to a couple of walks to see what you think before joining.
